I was born and raised in Philly with a love of the Phillies and Eagles bred into me. I now live in western PA for school. I'm calloused to heart-breaking losses and mediocre teams. I learned a love of sport from my grandfather and the bloated salaries and egos that mark today's athletes sicken me.

I had the honor of going to the first game after the MLB's break after 9/11. The emotion in the Vet combined with Scott Rolen pounding two doubles in a win over the Braves makes that game the only one I rank ahead of my first ever game.
Most Unbreakable Sports Record

Neither Cal Ripken nor Brett Favre will ever have their iron man streaks broken. The focus on specialization on 'keeping players fresh' in baseball and the increased violence in football make these records near untouchable.
Ruth or Mays?

Willie Mays was a much more well-rounded ballplayer and a man I can respect.
