About

I am a retired 30-year veteran statistics professor and am grateful to the BR support team's encouragement and advice as I plod to find my niche.
I believe that niche is mathematics. I love analyzing performance and creating new "measures" that may reveal a different perspective on a player. One illustration is a "maintain" where a reliever enters tie game or one with deficit of 3 or less runs, retires at least 1 batter, and exits having maintained the score he inherited. Relievers on losing teams who get less opportunities for saves and holds may well amass more maintains.
I've been blessed to develop this hobby into a paying one for I now work for many of the top sports agents. Joe Bick and BB Abbott are my favorites for they are my longest tenured clients and they readily endorse me to others. Practically everyone in the business has been a gentleman/gentlewoman to me.
I live on a farm/ranch with my wife Andrea and our many animals including horses, donkeys, sheepdogs, cats, and bunny.

Many thanks!! t old enough adore Kevin Stevens, but I was 11 when he won his first cup with the Pens and was hooked from then on. He had some competition with Jaromir Jagr and his mullet in the early years, but KS was always No. 1 in my heart.
