Forrest's Bio

Forrest Kobayashi is a sophomore student at Wake Forest University. He grew up in Alexandria, Virginia, though he was never a Washington sports fan. Forrest's favorite teams in major sports include the St. Louis Rams (NFL), Baltimore Orioles (MLB), and the Detroit Pistons (NBA). He also follows other sports, including college football and basketball, hockey, and Nascar.

Forrest grew up a diehard Michigan Wolverines fan. When not watching the maize and blue on college football Saturdays, he roots for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and West Virginia Mountaineers. In college basketball, he enjoys watching the Georgetown Hoyas.

Forrest is an accomplished fantasy sports player, as well. In the past year, he has won more than half of his fantasy leagues in several sports, including football, baseball, basketball, and Nascar. He enjoys writing fantasy sports articles and has a deep appreciation for commentary and insight regarding fantasy sports.

Forrest began his college education at The Ohio State University. Despite creating his own major at Ohio State in Sport Administration and Communication, he transferred to Wake Forest University after the end of his freshman year. He says that the Michigan-Ohio State game in 2006 was the best game he has ever attended in person.

Forrest is a member of the Fantasy Sports Writers Association of America (FSWA).

  1. Hey Forrest,

I hope you've been enjoying the new and improved Bleacher Report—we're really happy with the feedback we've received so far.

Just thought I'd let you know that next week we'll be launching the site to the world with some public announcements, and thus it'd be great to get a contribution from you between now and Tuesday to make Bleacher Report's launch a success.

Let me know if you need any help with ideas or have questions. Have a great weekend Forrest!

  2. I set up the league already so we could discuss things such as settings and roster positions, etc. I set up a discussion post on the league board to talk about things so everyone has a say on what we do. So here is the league id and password...

  3. Hey. I am interested in starting a bleacher report yahoo fantasy baseball league and doing a series of articles throughout the year on here following it and analyzing things. Is this something you'd be interested in?

  4. Forrest, thanks for reading man...I thought it was about time that some of the "underappreciated" players gets some play and recognition. Hope you liked...

I read your article of fantasy player falling short of expectations...and you would laugh at some of my horrible fantasy draft picks from this year Carson Palmer, Andre Johnson, Laurence Maroney, Rudi Johnson...I think my best player out of both of my teams was Lamont Jordan. Is that sad or what?
