Andi is a graduate of Georgetown University, where she received her Masters degree in Sports Industry Management focusing on Strategic Marketing, Communications, and New Media. She currently works with Brunner Inc. where she designs and implements social media strategy for international clients and creates Brunner's weekly company-wide trend report. Previously, Andi worked for the Pittsburgh Power Arena Football Team where she was part of the Social Media and Marketing Team. With the Power, Andi managed social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tout, Vine…), wrote and edited in-game content (media guides, programs, game scripts), and helped to plan sponsorship activations. Andi interned with Most Valuable Kids, where she provided underprivileged youth in the DC area the opportunity to go to professional and collegiate sports events. She also worked at Octagon Athletes and Personalities on a small public relations team. While at Octagon, Andi helped write marketing materials for agents, speaking clients, and athletes including Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Gabriel Landeskog, and Jonathan Huberdeau.
Andi played Ultimate Frisbee at the University of Maryland for 3 years and managed the Women's Hockey Team in her senior year. In her spare time, Andi enjoys watching hockey, talking about hockey, and writing about hockey in her hockey blog (www.fiveforboarding.com - check it out). She traveled around the world on Semester at Sea while she was in undergrad and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland in December, 2011.
