Stephen's Bio
What is there to say? Downsized due to economic recession, so I decided to go back to school where I'm currently harboring a 4.0. I'm writing a book called Redux, I have two dogs and a lot of time on my hands.
Oh, I suppose I'm a sports fan too. Worked for MLB.com for a season and spent a year-plus at 1050 ESPN Radio in New York.
I'm very old school when it comes to my sports. I'm a self-described self-loathing Yankee fan and a die-hard Pittsburgh Penguins fan. I'm indifferent about basketball and football, though I follow players I like to watch play. I consider myself a student of all games. Quoting my former boss after I was called out by an intern for flexing some obscure college football knowledge, "Just because Steve doesn't like it doesn't mean he doesn't know it." That's like three negatives, isn't it? I suppose it maintains the integrity of the sentence.
Funniest thing I ever said: In response to an interview that was being done over the air, my boss said "This sucks and it's going on forever," to which I ably responded "That's what she said!"
Aside from that, I watch a lot of tv and movies. Drop a line if you want to talk movies, tv, sports or have article ideas. Steve8771 on AIM.

Hi , did you see the NY sports page on BR? it is not doing to well. it only has 4 fans, i think we should make it better and take the page under are wing, its time to for us to represent NY and show the world what this great place is all about. I asked Angel Navedo to be the community leader, we will see what he says. Are you in ?
