A former book editor, Mark Bator was employed in the front offices of the New Jersey Rockin' Rollers (Roller Hockey International) in the 1990s, where he worked as the media-liaison for RHI on game nights, conducting post-game lockerroom interviews with players and coaches for inclusion in press releases.
He has authored articles that have appeared in game-night programs for professional sports teams, and was a contributing writer for the now-defunct monthly hockey magazine "Hat Trick" in the 1990s. In addition, he has written for local newspapers in his home state. He has been writing professionally since 1994. His book, "Dialogues with the Dead", is available online.
Mark - did you write your piece on RU's greatest D-I victory of all time yet? #1 of 10?
If not I think it would be a great angle to write how their greatest victory of all time wasn’t a victory at all but a 17-13 loss to number 1 Alabama in 1980.
