A 17-year-old hailing from a wide array of cultural backgrounds, Khalid Shakran seems to have one thing that brings it together: The passion and love for any sport. Khalid Shakran is a Golden State Warriors' fanatic, Serie A lover, and a African Football expert (or at least he has been told).

He Currently resides in the beautiful Bay Area and seems to have his heart attached to it for eternity. Loves to write about the Warriors, some Premier League related news, and the Serie A.

He hopes he can add to the Bleacher Report community's success and make it a fruitful experience.

I would definitely recommend it. The only problem is there isn't any concentration on sports reporting going on in any of the classes. However, once you are in the journalism program for a couple years a have built up your portfolio you can do what I'm doing right now and work in the Sports Information Department. It's a pretty sweet gig. It's gives you a lot of experience getting down the basics of writing press releases and dealing with media. Considering HSU sports is the biggest thing going on up here, my job is important. If you ever want to check out what I do, check the men's or women's soccer section on hsujacks.com.

i am thinking of starting a group or a small community of serie a writers on bleacher report where we can have match and transfer news. we can even create a series where any writer among the group can write it. it wont be mine or yours, but we can keep the same title to get the maximum amount of writers to read serie a in a step to let the league get more attention.

It's certainly a shame Arshavin is gonna have only around 4-5 at his peak in Europe but then considering what he's done in two matches only, I'd happily take any fantastic performance whatsoever from him. A joy to watch.

We move to the defensive side now..not the defenders but the holding midfielder..hopefully you'll be interested and will contribute..

The B/R team are looking at creative ways to get the new writers involved,any suggestions from our top writers would be invaluable...

We are considering a poll of topics which our top writers could vote for as the topic for the Round Table Discussions,However,all that is for the future..

Phew! The 3rd Round Table has been published and now we're on course for our forth one...
This time the topic is :

"Who do you think is currently the World's best holding midfielder or CDM?".

Example of these are Viera,M.Diarra,Mascherano,Gattuso,Makelele,Hargreaves,Gilberto,Edmilson etc..pick from these or choose your own but it has to be a holding midfielder..a striker,winger,defender,attacking midfielder will NOT be accepted..

After the success of the first two round tables,I have been urged by our top writers and Zander Freund to "keep em coming",However,we don't want to put to much pressure on our top writers so we are going to keep a round table discussion on a weekly basis.

The B/R team are looking at creative ways to get the new writers involved,any suggestions from our top writers would be invaluable...

We are considering a poll of topics which our top writers could vote for as the topic for the Round Table Discussions,However,all that is for the future..

Presently,the FIFA community's third round table discussion is to be unveiled.
