Ralph's Bio
I'm just a simple bus driver in Brooklyn, but I'm working on a plan to put together enough scratch to get the hell out of here. In the meantime, I'm always looking for ways to avoid spending time with my nagging wife. This website looks like one alternative. I don't like sports that much but this beats hanging around with Alice.

Oh...I was looking forward to maybe reading one or two articles by you fictitious character Ralph Kramden, but I guess you have writers block. I helped Goon write an article, maybe I can help you!
Remember this website depends on us all to write something other than comments to survive. Consider this a challenge to get creative and put your thoughts on paper.
Here is a clue...Write about something you love or hate about sports.
I will start you off by becoming your fan, so my face will remind you how much I am pulling for you. (smile)

The NY Yankees and the media are trying to manipulate you.
Yankee propaganda must be exposed as lies and crushed before it can spread any further.

Well I indeed apologize if I did sound cranky.
Regarding my "target audience" if you will, the article was actually written because many people had begun to state the opposite of what my article concluded. If anything, the popular opinion did not seem to reflect mine and I understand why. I too would have felt that Manning had more support had I not done the research.
I'm happy with how well people responded to the research and the content provided. Of course, not everyone will always agree which is in human nature. But as sports fans we all have the right to agree to disagree. That's why I don't mind when people have a different point of view, all that might do is motivate me to write something to the effect of my last article if I indeed feel that there is enough backing to substantiate my side.
With that being said, thank you for taking the time to read my article. While I understand that you might not agree with my conclusion and might not think highly of the fact that I devote so much time and effort to cover the exploits of this particular player, to have even taken a moment to read something I worked on is worthy of recognition.

Why do you assume cranky? I was happy to explain why I admire my favorite football player. No such explanation is any inconvenience and while you might feel that the same topic has been beaten to death, new information and perspective has been presented in each and every article.
Regarding my last article, the response was quite positive in my estimation and I was very satisfied with the result. It's not so much a matter of protecting Peyton Manning, it's a matter of taking a misconception and presenting the reality of the situation. It was an article that I enjoyed doing the research for, enjoyed writing, and enjoyed the response from the b/r community, from those who loved and hated the content alike.
Thank you for your interest,
-Ryan Michael

Be more specific.
Are you referring to the multiple articles I've written about him? The support I've backed him within articles written by others? The fact that my profile picture usually features him?
To give a generic response. Peyton is my favorite player who is the leader of my favorite team. I've watched him play since I was really young and have always admired the way he carries himself both on and off the field.
If there is more you'd like to know, I'd be happy to share. Just let me know what your looking for.

Joe, you're beyond boring at this point.
The only reason that I don't harass you to death is simply because ...I've lost interest.
Go somewhere else for attention. I've got other things to concentrate on right now. If you want me to keep badgering you, then let me know. I'll see what I can do to accommodate you. Maybe I'll get back to you sometime later, but right now, like I said, ...I'm a bit busy.
