Jimmie Johnson: One "Lucky Dog"
08/05/2009
With a new baby, classes beginning for my MBA and a real job, I simply don't have much time to commit towards writing here on B/R anymore, so I'm officially taking a temporary hiatus from the writer's block.
Fear not! I will still spend some time on here reading articles and commenting (I can do that at work after all! :) And hope to return to the writing ASAP!
Congrats on the little girl. If your wondering how i know you can thank David Philips for mentioning her in Creature vs. Creature Results After Talladega.

Sorry I took so long to respond. I live just up the road from you in Roanoke.

And again, that's your choice to bring them back or not. But the official policy, and therefore my job, is to delete them if they're not necessary. I didn't find them necessary because they didn't explain anything about the story, and you also linked to the writers' profiles, where the same pictures are featured. Embedded pictures often mess with the formatting on the site, and that's why we're told to delete them.
I know it can be a bit of a hassle, but if you want to keep them after they've been deleted, that's fine. But you have to understand that I'm only doing my job by deleting them.

Hi Ben,
Sorry I was slow getting back to you. Ryan's never mentioned a rule about double spacing on subheads to me; actually I've been working under the impression that everything is single spaced.
And as for pictures, if you're an intern you should know that it's policy to remove all embedded images unless they're necessary to the story.
Of course, you also know that the final changes are yours, whether you feel like adhering to the policy or not.
Hope this helps, sorry for any mix-ups.
