Paul's Bio

Paul Peszko, a noted film journalist, covers the field of animation and visual effects for VFX World and Animation World Network. He's also an avid sports fan. His favoarites are the NBA, college footbal, and the NFL. He covers the Western states, mainly California, including the Lakers and the Western Conference of the NBA, USC, UCLA and the PAC 10, and the Chargers, Raiders and AFC West.

A long-time student of Yang taiqi and medical and martial qiqong, his perspective on sports is always tempered by his awareness of the yin and yang. He also uses this knowledge to help condition student-athletes. Prior to taking up taiqi, he studied Hung Gar and Thai kick boxing, but later realized that using force was not as cohesive and efficient as using energy.
