About Leon »

I guess I would call myself an amateur writer. I enjoy sports on all levels. Since birth I have had the same teams as my favorites. I love the Atlanta Braves, Washington Redskins, Atlanta Hawks, and of course being from Tennessee, I love the VOLS!
I am in my sophomore year at Northeast State College in Northeast Tennessee, and a veteran of the United States Military.
I served in Operation Iraqi Freedom III in Baghdad Iraq from 2004-2005. I received the Purple Heart, Combat Action Badge, and the Army Accommodation Medal for Valor.
Upon my return from the military, I have grown to love blogging, writing, and everyday debate.
I carry a 3.65 GPA, and I am working towards my degree in business. If the economy can’t handle another business major, I plan on getting my Masters and perusing my teaching degree.
I am an avid history buff, and if this was an American History website, I would school a lot of people.
I plan on transferring to King College in Bristol and hopefully doing well for myself and my family. In the meantime, I plan on writing here, and hoping that the experience translates into future opportunity!
