Not sure but they'd be in first without Girardi. Fire him before it is all too late. He's brutal.

Living in upstate New York, I am a lifelong New York sports fan - Yankees, Giants, Knicks, Rangers, and Syracuse Orange . Most beloved of those teams are the Yankees and Giants. You'll find me both most passionate and most critical of those two.
While I've never written on a professional level, I have always seemed to use writing as an outlet. My Math background will often show up in my writing in the form of backing up what I am saying with statistics. I am very active in fantasy sports - baseball and football and, usually am the person my co-workers come to when they want a Superbowl pool or a March Madness pool. Most of my days at work begin with discussions of games the night before.
I look forward to plenty of banter on the articles I write. Feel free to follow me on twitter - where you'll see many of my opinions on sport and politics- at @oswegos1 and check out my "Off the Wall" column here at http://thefanmanifesto.com/author/steve-skinner/ . I've recently begun writing for rantsports.com and my articles can be located here: http://www.rantsports.com/blog/author/steveskinner/

Thanks for the fan add!
Ronnie is my favorite ballplayer of all time. I never saw him play as I am to young, but I enjoyed listening to "The Pat and Ron Show" on WGN Radio for many years. Last year was tough without him, but I am happy to see his legacy live on in his statue at Wrigley Field, his retired #10 at Wrigley, and now (finally) The Hall of Fame. You wrote an excellent article that I can tell comes from the heart, and to that I say well done!
