Attended Central Michigan University, where I majored in English with a concentration in Creative Writing. Graduated in 2003 with a BS in English. Minored in Political Science. Received Masters of Public Administration from Ohio University in 2004. Though I have moved around a bit since leaving Oak Park, Illinois at the age of fifteen, I have always been a Chicago kid at heart and my favorite sports team has always been the Chicago Blackhawks.

I couldn't be more excited about the team's play so far this season, especially considering the ten plus years of crushing mediocrity this team exhibited up until last year. I try and follow the prospects, the transactions, the line chemistry... Really, any facet of the Hawks holds interest to me. Hopefully, I can share some of that passion with the sporting world. No, I'm not a cheerleader, as my first article would hopefully indicate. But it's my hope to provide sound and steady analysis of my favorite franchise as the year progresses and perhaps beyond this year as well.

    Seeing a Chicago baseball team win a World Series in my life time.

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

    Last year when the Blackhawks tied the Dallas stars with 2 seconds remaining, then won in overtime. It's almost as though the Hawks knew that this game was my wife's first NHL game at the UC. Just awesome.

    The Great One's 215, Lance Armstrong's 7 straight Tour wins and the Bull's 72-10 record all pop to mind
