I'm a 28 year old aspiring sports writer. One day I hope to be a great sports columnist.
My background consists of watching many sporting events since 1990. I have a very analytical approach to whatever sport I am watching.
I try to keep things light when it comes to my love of sports. I'm very objective when it comes to talking about whatever topic in which I have some knowledge on. . My trash talking is me arguing logically, with humor sometimes.
You will see that my sports teams are scattered about the country. My allegiance to teams like Duke basketball, Michigan football, and the Chicago Bulls spurned from them being the teams that I first watched when I was a kid. Others like the Atlanta Braves, New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Penguins are second loves as I became very dissatisfied with the Oakland A's and Chicago Black hawks after they dumped their chances of winning by unloading their talent in the early nineties. My Team's current championship droughts are as follows:
Buffalo Bills-(1965) 43 years
Michigan Wolverines Football-(1997) 12 years
Chicago Bulls-(1998) 11 years
New York Yankees-(2009 World Series Champs)
Pittsburgh Penguins-(2008-09 Stanley Cup Champs)
Duke Basketball- (2001) 8 years
I feel like I'm a Chicago Cubs fan, waiting for the Buffalo Bills to finally win a title, only they never tasted an NFL championship.
I'm as happy as anyone that the Pittsburgh Penguins won the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs! Congratulations to all the players, management, and every Penguin fan. GO PENS!
I love being on this site as it's so stimulating and a good amount of the articles here are thought provoking.

Amen to that, brother.
The tears flowing out of Detroit the past two weeks will eventually form another Great Lake.
Christopher,
As always, thanks for such a healthy perspective—I really appreciate such kind and sage words.
A considerable part of what makes B/R such an enjoyable place.

Hey Christopher,
Apologies for all the blast posts, which I'm sure got a little annoying. Hence, I'm putting an end to that practice and trying to keep future posts more reader-specific. To that end, you seem like an NBA guy so maybe you'll like this one:

Just posted my latest. Breaking down my expectations for the Cowboys' 2009 season. If you have a second, I would love your feedback, but if you cannot get around to it, no worries! Thanks!

Christopher:
We have seen a ton of lists, rankings, etc. all over B/R. I finally tried one of my own, but I tried to tackle this particular list from a different angle than the norm. My list is of the 10 Most Valuable Offensive Players in the NFL.
These players aren't necessarily the best in the league, or even the best at their positions, but rather the 10 players that mean the most to their particular team's SB chances.
Would love your input if you have a chance. If not, no worries. Thanks!
