  1. Thanks for the comment on the LJ article, but I wrote it seven months ago!!

  2. The days of the Patriots defense as a dinosaur dynasty are over: Richard Seymour, the last link to the three Super Bowl victories, has been shipped to Oakland for a first-round draft pick.

Comments and feedback are appreciated! Thanks!

  3. I'm back from a short sabatical. And am I happy. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/246921-give-me-the-sanctuary-of-the-nfl

  4. Tedy Bruschi retires, and with him, one of the last remaining symbols of New England's No. 1 defense in their dynasty years is gone.

  5. Hope so man. Keep me posted. A really good topic on a subject of which I don't think many NFL fans are aware.

  6. Samer,

Thanks for the link and the article, it was extremely well-written and very informative. Perhaps, as a Raider fan, I was never going to hear of this plan since it hasn't applied in some time :)

Anyhow, I knew nothing of this. In a league where parity is rampant, it doesn't seem really all that fair to me. There are only a couple of franchises in the NFL that are a gold standard almost every year, like the Pats, Steelers, Eagles, etc.

This would punish those who made a quick turnaround and just got out of mediocrity, as the best 8 teams certainly never are the last 8 teams standing.

Great article. I wish I had've read it when it was fresh so I could've participated in the dialogue. Retroactive pick of the day for me.

    Thanks again.

  7. Hey, Samer!

I've posted two articles today. The first of which is an article on vanity in sports, and how obtrusive it's become. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/230950-youre-so-vain-when-celebration-exceeds-itself

I've also posted another in my New England Patriots series, this one about the running backs. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/230969-check-in-with-the-patriots-the-fearsome-foursome-of-running-backs

I really hope you enjoy these articles! Thanks for checking them out!

  8. You got a shout out in this one.
It's a disease all Patriot fans are afflicted with.
