Boston Celtics: It's Time to Trade the Big 3
January 23, 2012
I remember my first professional sporting event like it was yesterday. My father drove me down to Hartford, Connecticut to see the Whalers and the Bruins take the ice. Ever since then, I have been hooked on sports, and it has developed into a passion. Maybe even an obsession. That passion isn't solely watching sports, but also involves writing about them as well.
When I wrote my first sports piece, I never intended for it to be anything besides me putting my thoughts on paper. But once I started, I couldn't stop writing, and even eventually started my own sports blog. Eventually I decided I would like to try to write for more then just friends and family, and discovered Bleacher Report.
Living in the Boston area, I have been lucky to have so many different sports teams nearby. I have also been lucky enough to experience some great events. The NBA Playoffs, NHL Playoffs, Jon Lester's no hitter, the Winter Classic, the Bean Pot, and the Sweet 16 are only a few of the sporting events i have attended over the years, and consider myself not just a Boston sports fan, but a sports fan in general.
Whether it is a sports league like the MLS, or a young prospect like Tim Tebow, in sports it takes time for an entity to develop. And like those entities, I hope overtime my writing will develop as well, and I will write something that you will enjoy.
