Oh, I'll be okay. I think what bothers me more is not the loss itself but the fact that so many people are crucifying Belichick for making the call. Even here in NE, people are questioning him. I think, and Terry agrees, that it was the right thing to do. If it works, he's brilliant. It doesn't quite work, and people are raking him over the coals for it.
I'm probably taking the criticism harder than Belichick is. I'm sure he can't be bothered.
I know he is unpopular, but thanks to him, the Pats have had the best decade in their history. I never question anything he does, and it bugs me that other NE fans are up his a$$ about it.
I just want to make the playoffs.
Anyway, thank you again, and I guess I'll have to thank the little birdie too.

It's odd though, because I just signed up with facebook yesterday. I was looking for some people, but I don't think I had made it to the west coast yet.
I'm still heartsick. And the Pats posse has to get our picks posted tomorrow, since there is another thurs. game. And I just have no enthusiasm for it yet. I tell you this because I know you know how it would feel for you.
My contempt for the Colts has deepened.
I'll pull it together by tomorrow. What do you think of SD-Denver? I am difinitely inclined to go with the Bolts, they have the momentum as Denver is tanking. Your insight would be useful.

Hey Lucia-- A bitter pill to swallow, but it truly is just one game. I was laughing at all this media hype about "The Rivalry of the Decade." Now it's "The Insane Call of the Decade." BB did what he though was best, and judging by what the Colts had done on their previos drive, it was a chance he had to take. Nine times out of 10, they would get the first down. Guess this was that one out of ten. Damn.
Glad you got to go to the game yesterday, L. What do you have season tickets or something? I was really, really happy for you when they won. You and the Bolts are almost synonymous in my head now.
Silver and I have tickets for the Pats-Panthers game in a few weeks, not that the Panthers are all that, but I did grow up in NC.
