Yikes is right. I'm glad you understand and still love me. Geez, your hubby would get the whole wrong idea if he read some of this stuff.

The truth is I have another friend here who is a very depressed NYG fan, and I need to be very diplomatic when these things happen. I knew you would understand.

I picked against Denver too, but that's a pickle because they are playing our other common enemy, the Steelers.

I just came home a little while ago, bunch of people partying at Silver's. Can you believe that beatdown? Sure the Titans suck, but damn...

Hey, L, thanks for the read, comments and pick. I will tell you here that the Patriots are going to kick the Broncos' asses so bad, those clowns will be sorry they showed up for the game. They have no business being undefeated anyway.

I'll be in touch, probably with your friend Silver once again sitting on my couch, watching the game.

Oh yeah, I meant to mention the idiot announcers. We were sitting in my basement watching the game while our wives were upstairs writing new lyrics to the old song "Jukebox Hero", only their version is called "Football Widow." So during timeouts and other breaks in the action we were muting the TV to try to hear what they were up to, and during every break, we were saying, damn, I think these guys are in love with Worthlisberger, they must be so unhappy they can't get with him, etc. It's so obvious, and they really didn't give the Chargers enough credit for their courage.

As NE fans, it might seem like we have no room to talk because Brady gets sucked up to a lot. But two years ago, when they were perfect on the season and all that BS, there were several of the announcers who were so obviously wanting them to lose a game, it was sickening. I had to mute the TV on several occasions.

Steelers suck and so do those loser announcers. I miss John Madden, at least he was fair.
