After spending ten years in Radio broadcasting, with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, I realized that if I ever wanted to own a car that I had better get into a business that paid a little better. Subsequently, I am the owner of a large security software company that does well - and don't have much better to do then have a good complaint about my beloved Oilers. Although I would add that with the CFL season coming, coach Macaroni will be a favorite target for his dismal coaching performance.
I read your Northwest Divison first-half article and must say it's great!
I just read through your profile and seen that you used to be in journalism, and switched careers. I myself am looking into it right now and am still debating whether or not I want to take it in school. What was your yearly salary? And if so, what do you do now that pays more (if you don't mind).
Thanks a lot, really appreciate it
Hey Darren! My name is Matt and I'm the Community Leader here at BR for the CFL. I noticed you are an Edmonton Eskimos fan! Great! I'm looking for someone who can cover the Eskies as they take the field for the 2008 season. If you're interested, all you have to do is start writing. Thanks Darren! If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
