Bill's Bio
I'm Bill Upchurch. I'm 36 years old and a lifetime sports fan. Until recently, I have never enjoyed reading about, or watching sports nearly as much as I enjoyed playing sports. That seems to be changing as I get older. I have a wife and two children. We are an athletic family. I played baseball in college at East Carolina University and still follow ECU sports. I don't have any "favorite teams" in professional sports, but I admire and follow many of the athletes. (Mostly in the NFL, but other sports as well) Except for some recreation sports, my playing days are over. My most recent "sports related activity" is following the progress of Kevin Everett (Buffalo Bills TE), who was paralized in September and Walking as early as 8 weeks later, and... is still progressing. It is truly an amazing story and a perfect example of what can be done with modern technology, accompanied by heart, determination, and a positive attitude. I look foward to reading, writing, and commenting on The Bleacher Report pages.
