I was born and raised in New York and I have been a sports fan ever since I can remember. I'm currently studying broadcast journalism at Stony Brook University on Long Island, N.Y. and will be graduating in the spring of 2013. I started playing soccer at a very young age and that is when my love for sports began to grow. I am the football beat writer for Stony Brook University and have also covered Stony Brook University basketball, track, lacrosse, softball, and baseball. I freelance for Three Village Patch on Long Island and recently completed the Bleacher Report internship which was held between August-May of 2012.
