Chris is a freelance journalist based in Washington, D.C. Originally from the wilds of Oxfordshire, he moved Stateside in June after finishing his degree. He is a Featured Columnist for Bleacher Report, and has been in the position since October 2013.

Alongside B/R, Chris currently writes for SoccerWire and is copy editor for the Alexandria Times. He has previously contributed to Goal.com, College Soccer News and the Soccer Desk and has spent time as an intern with Oxford United Football Club, D.C. United and local media outlets in his native Oxfordshire. He was also Sports Editor and Managing Editor of Concrete, the student newspaper at the University of East Anglia.

He believes strongly that Americans should be forced to play and understand cricket on a compulsory basis, but he loves all sport regardless, especially soccer (or football, depending on where you’re from), rugby, baseball and tennis.
