Max's Bio
Max Iascone is a 15 year old high school student who lives in Massachusetts, He first came to this site in search of a reliable NFL reference. He quickly soured on blowhards like Mel Kiper, Jim Rome, and the late Sean Salisbury (He isn't dead but his career is). He has had a passion for sports and journalism since he was 7 and although he has been an ardent supporter of Boston sports teams since age 6, he takes pride in being a well rounded sports fan (screw hockey)and will discuss any team in any sport.(not hockey)He dreams of one day being a sports writer but he is inexperienced and consequently is not exactly great at it. And for those who want to know, that's a picture of Robert Loggia.

Thanks for your comment Max.
Yeah I just don't know if Wade Phillips has what it takes to win in the playoffs. Just like you said, I think he's a regular season coach. I guess time will tell. Being a Redskins fan, I hope things don't work out haha.

Interesting feedback. So as I understand it, you compare him with just one particular player, and not against many of the recent greats. Was he over hyped? Yes. I don't fault him for that. I fault the ESPiN mentality. Even before considering his injury and his line, the 103/56.5% are still very good numbers historically for a frosh at a major program. I agree with you whole heartedly that it's too early to judge and after seeing what I have this spring, I think the world will be surprised.
Here's a very well done article on the matter:

Max, You recently commented that Jimmy Clausen's stats were terrible last year. For clarifications sake, which particular stats do you feel were "terrible" and to what were you comparing them to?
I've often found that it's one thing to make a statement, it's another to be able to poignantly back them up with sources and reference points.
If you get into this great habit, you will find that not only will your schoolwork improve, people will begin to take you more seriously. You will gain respect.
Much Success to you.

Max, it could be that the title is very very long or very very short. This will make the box turn red. See if the title can be changed a bit and then it should work.
