I have been a fan of the NBA since Magic Johnson’s rookie year. Since Magic was my favorite player and I lived in a non-NBA city, I grew up a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers. After enlisting in the US Army, I was stationed in San Antonio. It was my first opportunity to see NBA games live and in person. I was truly hooked at this point! I was even in the Alamodome for the Memorial Day Miracle. My greatest in person NBA moment. After leaving San Antonio, I relocated to Memphis and shortly afterward the Vancouver Grizzlies announced they were following me to Memphis. I am truly blessed.

Since that time, my NBA fandom was surrendered to the Grizzlies. I started my own Grizzlies blog (http://www.GrizzliesNation.com) and write for the best NBA fan blog around (http://www.3ShadesofBlue.com).
