Lamond Murray joined NCSA Athletic Recruiting as a Recruiting Expert in October 2011 with more than 12 years of professional basketball experience.

Murray grew up in Northern California. After finishing his college career at the University of California, he was selected seventh overall by the Los Angeles Clippers during the 1994 NBA draft. He stayed with the Clippers until 1999, then continued his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Toronto Raptors and New Jersey Nets. From 2007 until 2010, Murray played overseas with the Guangdong Southern Tigers in China and Al-Muharraq in Bahrain.

During his career, he played 736 games and averaged 11.3 points per game. He retired from basketball in 2011.
