All right then, my name is Jo-Ryan Salazar, and here's my bio.
Aside from being a sports fan like the rest of your here on b/r, I write columns on Major League Soccer and the Los Angeles Galaxy and previously wrote on Women's Professional Soccer. I am a proud alumnus of Cal State Long Beach, after already earning a couple AA degrees at Long Beach City College. I am a proud recipient of an MBA and a Master of Information Systems Management degree from the Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University.
I follow a number of pro/semi-pro/amateur clubs: Los Angeles Galaxy, Long Beach State (all teams), Los Angeles Angels, USC Trojans football, Belmont Shore RFC, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Sparks, Chelsea FC, Anaheim Ducks, Montreal Canadiens, Melbourne Vixens netball, Melbourne Victory, Saskatchewan Roughriders, FC Tokyo, Auckland City FC and AFC Wimbledon.
I have been an anime and manga enthusiast since August 1995. I volunteer as an Anime Expo (AX) staff member every 4th of July in downtown L.A. I also work for the Long Beach Bar Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of juvenile at-risk youth.
As a courtesy to yours truly and others on Bleacher Report, may I request that when you comment on his articles, stay on topic and do not talk about anything outside of sports or the topic itself. There are other forums out there for those topics; namely ours for example. And no personal attacks please; on this page that amounts to a no-win situation.
Other than that, enjoy my contributions here on Bleacher Report. And thanks for reading.
masters from devry ? >.< ahahahahahah is that a joke ?
No probs, Salazar. I like your profile statement. Good going!
I liked your article about MLS expansion teams. However, you did not mention Indianapolis! We have a great fan base and have recently created a facebook page. We could use some exposure! Check us out please!

No problem. Thank you.
That's a lot of articles.
Thanks for the like.
As I've said before, it is completely your prerogative. I assume you write pieces to have it read—I'm just giving you advice if you'd rather have readers read the entire piece or click out a quarter of the way in upon seeing the length.
Do your Power Rankings ever feature on the front page? Even if the B/R MLS audience is small, it seems like featuring it for a few hours on Mondays would be a good way for the website to promote some level of interest and give the average viewer an opportunity to get a quick update on the events of the league and the results of the week. I thought maybe I could achieve something like that with my MLS Week 20 Roundup, which took friggin' forever, but I guess not. B/R continues to surprise me with their entire lack of interest in MLS. Kudos for hanging in there with it.
Thanks for linking to my piece. Any tips? It's a bit disconcerting to see you at 414k reads, while I've watched mine slowly creep up to 150...
