Mike's Bio

Ex-Pat living in the village of Oundle in the United Kingdom (That's England for you slow Steelers fans) after moving here from Columbus, Ohio. Went to Ohio State and worked in the city of Columbus for 10-years after originally being from Tipp City, Ohio.

I host a website called www.kegeratornation.com which is a sports blog that consists of loosely 15-or so friends who occasionally add content but mostly just weigh in and read the site. I do the majority of the writing and content editing. Please check it out! We're also always looking for additions and those that want to contribute. Especially when the fall comes and we have a panel that produces the KegeratorNation Top 25 College Football Poll. Please stop by and leave a comment if you'd like!

As far as sports go, I love it all and with a passion. I also love to write about it. I was a writer for the Troy Daily News for a while and also was part of the writing team that got the origianl Dayton Bombers ECHL hockey team's website going.

The teams I love are mostly centered around Ohio and my roots. I have been a season ticket holder for the Cincinnati Bengals since 1998 and a die hard since the age of 7. That same year, my Dad too me to my first Ohio State Buckeyes football game. I have been fixture at home Ohio State Buckeyes football games as a tailgater since I started living there. Perhaps those two things other than family are what I will miss most about being back in the states this next fall.

I also am a big fan of and root for the Columbus Blue Jackets, Columbus Destroyers in the AFL, the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Indians for baseball and Tony Stewart in NASCAR. I love college basketball as well but really don't care for the NBA at all.
