I am a student at the University of Illinois with a deep passion for all things Illini. I have spent my recent years frustrated with the lack of intellectual analysis given towards Illinois and the Big Ten sports scene. As a result, my goal is to give my readers a realistic, intellectual, and unique perspective on midwestern sports. I am a huge fan of the Chicago Bears and Illinois Fighting Illini and I want to do whatever I can to let that passion spill over to you, the readers.     Hey Preston,

    I'm a huge Illini Fan (my girlfriend and I named our cat Llinial after the Illini) and I really enjoy your articles. There isn't alot of coverage over them. But I do have a question for Bball, do they get a scholarship back for Crandall Head transferring? I know they are short on them and don't have a very good incoming class for 2012 due to scholarships so even 1 could be important. Just curious and I didn't know who else to ask.
