I'm the managing editor of TonightsHealthyScratches.com, one of the fastest growing hockey blogs on the Bloguin network. At THS, myself, fellow former B/R writer Frank Castaldi and Brian McCormack tackle all the headlines around the NHL and international hockey in a number of ways.

I graduated from Hofstra University with a degree in Journalism in May 2010. I started writing for Bleacher Report back in 2007, and used to write on here about the teams I support, the Yankees, Rangers, University of Michigan and any team representing the USA.

Some people studied math, science or philosophy in college. I studied sports. I live it, I breathe it. And I fully intend on making a career out of it. I realized when I was 14 I wasn't going to be the next Yankees' great center fielder, so I figured I'd write about them. Luckily for me, I'm good at it.

I consider myself a student of the game, especially baseball and hockey. I'm always trying to come up with the angles nobody's thought of about a particular story, rather than just blending in with the crowd. I enjoy studying the finer points of the game, instead of the big events.
