I was born and raised just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. I grew up playing several sports but focused primarily on elite travel hockey and continue to play at Ohio University. I discovered a love for sportswriting at OU and hope to pursue it as a career after my graduation in 2014. Obviously, I love writing about the Penguins, the Steelers and the Pirates, but I keep up with the entire NHL, NFL and MLB.
