Frances is and avid basketball fan and a Literary Agent that resides in Hollywood, Florida.
She is most interested in fiction that has a strong sense of plot, character and voice. From literary novels to genre fiction she is open to most any kind of story so long as it engages the reader from the start and keeps the pages turning whether marveling at the language, parachuting into battle, or sleuthing with a detective.
The nonfiction projects she is most interested in has strong writing, exclusive access to first-hand source materials, or a singular voice-driven style. These projects range across subjects like journalism, history, sports, pop-reference, humor and narrative journalism in current and military affairs.
She also loves to blog about her favorite teams The Boston Celtics, and the New England Patriots.
She is actively looking for new clients in all areas of fiction and non-fiction.

With just a couple of days before the 2010 Ford Ironman Championship in Hawaii, I talk with one of the favorites—last year's runner-up, American Chris Lieto:

Another excellent read, but the editors must have the day off. Two small boo-boos:
1. "Off all the centers" should be "Of all the centers..."
2. "...questioned by many of his pundits." Jermaine does not have any pundits. He has critics. Could also go with "...questioned by the pundits."
There...now you have my two cents for the day. Keep up the excellent Celtics coverage.
Have a heart!
