My Grandad introduced me to State of Origin when I was about 10, before Queensland went all world domination on Origin, so I was fortunate enough to have a hell of a lot of Lockyer brilliance to gratuitously woop about, safe in the knowledge that I'd done the hard yards in the halls of league fandom.
