Virginia Tech Hokies Forward J.T. Thompson Out for Season With Torn ACL
September 17, 2010
I'm a 2008 graduate of Virginia Tech where I majored in Communication with a minor in English. I was a writer and sports editor of our student run website Planet Blacksburg (http://planetblacksburg.com/). I made a habit of covering the Hokies football program and I followed the team all over the southeast both as a journalist and sometimes as an unruly fan. I had the privilege during college to take in many fantastic football venues including Notre Dame, LSU, Florida State and of course the friendly confines of Lane Stadium.
As much as I love Hokie football, I've always had a special place in my heart for Tech basketball. Cassell Coliseum is a special place and one of the most underrated home court advantages in the NCAA. Taking the ACC down a few pegs since our entrance into the conference has sure been fun for a "football school".
In addition to my articles on BR, I've been running Stars & Slights (http://starsandslights.blogspot.com/), a blog co-founded and maintained by my longtime friend and conspirator Brian Chester, who also writes for BR. There in addition to sports we delve into music and politics and general tomfoolery.
Where ya been Justin?
Anyway, I'd wish you good luck tonight but you won't need it.

Getting a little turned around here, so I apologize if this is redundant but thanks for the edits on the Tebow piece.
The extra set of eyes is much appreciated.

Justin,
I have been writing a series taking an in depth look at the Bills, their offseason moves and how I think it will affect their chances at a Super Bowl run. I would like you to have a look at it and let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Lance
