Baseball. I'm all about baseball. All sports interest me, but I am most passionate about baseball. The history of the game fascinates me, and I love to read about players of the old days, especially players like Lou Gehrig.
Every day, I think about baseball and I'm drawn to search for the latest news. When the World Series is over, I go into a little depression for a few weeks because I miss it so much. MLB Network seems to revive me.
The Yankees have been a giant part of my life since childhood. I even worked for the Yankees as an EMT, and I did the same thing at Madison Square Garden for the Knicks and the Rangers from January 1992 to November 1996. I must have seen millions of dollars worth of free games and concerts over the years.
Writing is one of my passions, and I thoroughly enjoy sharing my writing, as many of you do, here on Bleacher Report. You'll find that I research and focus a great deal of attention on prospects in the minor leagues fighting for a spot on MLB teams. I respect and admire their motivation, dedication and determination.

Bill,
Hey, just saw you became the newest Yankees Featured Columnist and wanted to congratulate you.
Keep up the good work on here and look forward to reading more of your stuff. Keep it up!
Doug
Hey Bill
I'm a huge fan and love your writing. Bleacherreport, especially your writing, has inspired me to start writing about sports. I considered signing up for bleacherreport but instead decided to try to make my own website. http://bustasports.com/ is the link, and it would mean a ton if you checked it out and gave me some feedback. Feel free to give me positive or negative feedback, either way it means a lot. You can post on my profile or email me at lmssports@hotmail.com
I also have a couple questions, so do you have a personal email I can reach you at?
Thanks a lot and a reply would be huge for me.
Thanks a lot Bill.
The trial, first wave of assignments, etc has turned my focus to MMA for the time being, but I'm hoping to get back to doing some Jays stuff. As you have probably noticed....the first two games have produced no shortage of things to write about.
Thanks again.
Keep up the good work!
Hey Bill, thanks for becoming a fan.
Looking forward to reading your stuff once the season actually begins...
Hey Bill,
Thanks for becoming my fan on here! I enjoy your work on here.
Thanks again!
Hey Bill, great work of what I've read so far... I'm new to BR.
Reference, Vizquel... Have you written about his role in regards to Brett Lawrie?
If I'm Farrell, I'm keeping Vizquel next to Lawrie all year to teach him how to get his fielding numbers to the MLB level. Heck, I'll even make them roommates on the road!
Just a thought for a story idea. Not sure if I'm late on that swing...
Have a good one!
Thank you. I really enjoy reading about and remembering when it was real baseball.
No prob on the change. I didn't know it was given to you. I think my headline was better. Haha!!
Bill, just curious. Did you change back your headline or did I screw up?
The one thing I dig about you as a writer is that you listen to comments and respond to them. Keep up the great work. You're easily one of the better writers on here.
