I am a loyal Pennsylvania sports fan in general, but when it comes the Steelers and Penn State my level of fandom has reached rather (regretfully) nerdy heights. I attended an average sized high school by the name of Selinsgrove. I played H.S. football, cross country, wrestling, and Track and Field. Im very energetic about my teams (Phillies, 76ers, Steelers, Penn State) and although Im a little prone to taunting I try my hardest to remain unbiased as possible. I am a 21 year old U.S. Marine stationed in San Diego CA for the time being, and during that time I hope to pick a degree in sports journalism. I have to admit despite my distaste for most west coast teams Ive grown quite fond of the area and am doing my best to convert the lost masses over here to a real religion a.k.a Steelers Football.

Yeah the '03 team was awesome... they had a better defense overall I think but the '04 team was better. I don't it is tough to compare teams from different decades because of players' speeds and strength but that would be one hell of a matchup. PSU team in 94 was unreal as well... i have a feeling we would both take our own teams to win haha

good facts article on usc and penn st... the teams definitely have crazy, identical stats in many categories. I am excited for the game, win or loss. Thanks for serving in the marines for our country bro... i knwo you are a big ten guy, but how sweet is SD? I love so cal. I lived in La Mesa San Diego for a couple years but live in OC now... good stuff.
