Yankee fans rooting for the Red Sox? Has hell frozen over, or is there a rational thought process at the root of it all. Read why it is ok for you to root for Boston on select occasions without feeling like Benedict Arnold.

There has always been a connection between religion and sports, and Major League Baseball has certainly not been the exception to the rule.

Check out the All-Catholic lineup…the best Catholic names (by position) in MLB history.

Hey,

The turmoil surrounding the 1977 Yankees earned them the nickname of “The Bronx Zoo.” The current 2009 Yankees have an interesting blend of leaders and pranksters, so I decided to create a LITERAL “zoo.”

Check out what animal each Yankee would be reincarnated as in a next life.

Thanks everyone!

Hey,

It’s been a very long time since I have extended an article of mine to the Bulletin Boards of my friends/fans, but this one is filled with the true venom and passion of a frustrated Yankees fan. The days of consistent success are over, and this baseball lifer is blaming Brian Cashman. Read how he has displayed the baseball knowledge of a little leaguer in assembling Yankee teams of the last 7 years.

I would love to hear your feedback on this one. Thanks everyone!

Hey,

The Yankees have been putrid against Boston this year, especially over a 3-game sweep in Fenway Park. They are returning to the scene of the crime tonight, and this slideshow highlights 5 major reasons why this time around could be very different:

I would love to hear your feedback and input, and I look forward to talking to you soon. Thanks in advance!

It appears as though Nick Swisher’s Yankees honeymoon is coming to a close, and is being replaced with married life. Smiles are quickly transitioning into expressions of concern. Read about how bad it has gotten for Swish in the Bronx.

Kyle, If you listen to Francessa or Kay or Dog, they've all said the same thing on the air. The players are tired of constantly having to answer questions about A-Rod. It's menatlly draining and a huge distraction. They wish he would somehow just go away. I understand you love his ability, but if the players would rather be without him, that's enough to convince me.

That said, I admire your passion for the team...

You are the eternal Yankee optomist, and there's nothing wrong with that. I live in Yankeeland. I see the papers everyday. I know how tired the other players are of answering A-Rod questions. jeter just snapped off an perturbed answer to a reporter today and said he's not going to answer A-Rod questions. It's a circus here Kyle, and that's exactly why everyone in NY would be happier without him. then maybe baseball games could be the story.

Sure there will always be tons of media attention, but how can you say it wouldn't be less distracting with A-Rod? Have you been watching TV for the last few days? How many items have you seen about the upcoming season? Everything is about A-Rod. Are players being asked about the upcoming season - no, they're being asked about A-Rod. It's like a bee that lands in your ear. A constant annoying buzzing you can't get rid of. If you kill the bee, it's a major annoyance you no longer have to deal with.
