Mark Durland knows adversity...raised a Florida Gator and lives deep in Tennessee Vol country. There's not much hope for you finding impeccably researched statistics or unbiased game correspondence with his byline attached. Opinion-editorial style is Mark's forte.

Mark is a Navy Reserve Master Chief. He began his collegiate studies at Stetson University (playing on the Hatters' varsity soccer team) and completed his degree thirty years later at SIU Carbondale. Who knows? With that kind of persistence, maybe he'll learn to write a decent article!
