Mark is a Navy Reserve Senior Chief. He began his collegiate studies at Stetson University (playing on the Hatters' varsity soccer team) and completed his degree thirty years later at SIU Carbondale. Who knows? With that kind of persistence, maybe he'll learn to write a decent article!
