Except for eight years in Austin, I have lived in the Pittsburgh area all my life. I graduated from Clarion University (most known for graduates John Calipari and Kurt Angle) with a Bachelors Degree in Communications. I most concentrated on broadcasting, soon after beginning an 19-year radio career. In that span, I have worked on-air with rock and sports stations, station imaging director at two others, media coordinator with a state government agency, and instructor of radio courses at the CSB School of Broadcasting. My passions are music, photography and of course, sports. More specifically my hometown Penguins and Steelers. I have met some of the sports legends and sports heroes through my broadcast career...Mario Lemieux, Willie Stargell, Myron Cope, Bill Cowher, Dwight White, Rocky Blier, L.C. Greenwood, Franco Harris and the great Earl Campbell while living in Austin. Even ran into Lynn Swann at the security checkpoint at Pgh. International Airport a couple years ago. Got a chance to be official scorekeeper for three seasons with a CHL minor league team, the Austin Ice Bats where I really learned and appreciated the game of hockey.
