  1. No no worries...it'll be fun...you should have an email in your inbox from Fantasy PremierLeague

  2. Its a fantasy league through the premier league website. You pick players from different EPL teams for your fantasy team. They score points based on their real-life performance for your team. You have to outsmart the other guys by predicting who will play the best in real life matches. I've got a few of the bleacher report guys signed up for the league. If you leave your email on my page, I'll add you to our league, then delete your email from my page. You'll get an email from Fantasy Premier League and you can start to pick your team.

  3. Im sure Manchester United aint afraid of Chelsea, but Chelsea + Kaka........oh god

  4. Damn man, pity you had to change the pic on the women....that was quite a teaser to look at the article!!!!!!!!!!

  5. I'm starting a bleacher report EPL fantasy football league. Interested?

  6. Hey S,

Just playing the rules..The picture wasn't all that bad but the new one is more intriguing :p...Good work.

    SS

  7. Enjoyed the read S thanks for heads up...

Forgot to say watched Brazil - Arg not that long ago stayed up till eaerly hours only to see a 0-0 it was odd... What did you think?

    Alby

  8. What's your prediction for the final of the Copa Libertadores? Fluminense looks like the favorites to me. But this is football... anything can happen.

  9. Hey Mate,

First off, have a look at this article on the Euro 2008 Awards! and kindly leave a comment.
    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/33641-world-football-my-euro-2008-awards

Secondly, the 5th Round Table will be published soon.Anyway, after a collection of votes it appears the topic "What would be your all time World XI and why" has got the most votes.

This is the topic for the next round table..Kindly ensure your format is as follows we don't want you to create a formation..It should be like this :
    (THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE)
    My Formation 4-4-2

    Manager-Scolari : because....
GK-Casillas : because he is very consistent.
    RB-Garincha: because.....

So create your all time World X1 and email it to worldfootball@post.com,latest by 3rd July (Thursday)
Kindly email it from your permanent email address so you can be given future round tables discussions as well..

    Cheers,
    SS

  10. Hey man i respect your opinions as they seem well founded and based on a secure knowledge rather than emotion. In commenting on the world cup it was mainly as a neutral as I am New Zealander but normally cheer for Brazil because of have good friends from your country. The world club championship is an odd one for me because it seems more about the money than the fans or football, constantly playing in Japan is just annoying to me. But yeah fair call it seems the South american club sides have the edge in this department as well.
The reason I am a strong follower of the english game is that growing up here the only coverage we ever got of any football was from england, and the world cup. alot of british came out to live here in the 50's and 60's as well so their mindset and ways dominate New Zealand football, unfortunately, haha. nigeria in the 94 world cup were cool, was it amokachi who got that screamer against greece? cant quite remember. thats is a crack up 'Ronaldo breaks wind'.

  11. Hey Mate,

Our First 4 Round Tables have been published, after giving the writers a deserved break,we return with another World Football Round Table..

The Topic this time round is :
"Which system do you prefer, golden goal or penalties and why".This topic was suggested by S and I'd like to thank him for that.

You have till 30th June (Monday) to send in a contribution..If you wish to participate, send in a contribution 50-150 words to worldfootball@post.com

After you done the above...leave some spaces..write "MY PICK" and choose from one of the following topics..the topic which gets the most votes will be the topic for our next Round Table..

    The Topics are :
1.Which club or country do you think has the most intriguing uniform and why?

2.What is your Best World 11 of all time and why?

3.What do you think is the most annoying thing in football and why?

    Till then..it's a wrap..

    Cheers,
    SS

  12. Sounds good mate. Pass the idea on to Salaar and I'm sure it'll be a yes.

  13. Thanks for the vote SB. Hope to go from strength to strength.

  14. allo mate, I saw the note you left on Salaar's profile, about the wall spray in Brazilian Football. That has to be one of the best ideas ever. I am so sick of the wall being able to move about 3 yards before the kick is taken.

  15. S, check this out. Its hilarious.
