I love watching sports, I love writing and I love the challenge of correcting those pesky typos. I am a graduate of Middle Georgia College (now, Middle Georgia State College) and the University of Georgia.

There was a time that I put these passions on a shelf as a result of being busy with life. Then, I found B/R. I was accepted into the editing internship program, and to make a long story short, I was afforded the opportunity to come on board as an editor.

This site has been such a blessing to me as I have been able to reconnect with my passions and have the added bonus of being able to provide assistance to fellow writers. And I am even more blessed that I am able to simultaneously learn from, share with and get to know people from around the world. It has and continues to be a very rewarding opportunity.

Lately, it seems as though I have been drawn more to tennis, but when writing, it may be about any of the sports that I enjoy watching. Thanks to everyone who has read and will read my articles and has left or will leave feedback/comments. All is much appreciated.

If at any time, you would like to contact me, do feel free to do so via posting below, using the message system or emailing me at dsmithjohnson@bleacherreport.com.

Thanks for the edit on my Red Sox shopping list article! I think because I use two spaces at the end of sentences sometimes they don't always line up with the left margin? Does that make sense?

And apologies for misspelling your name below there and not realising the delete function didn't work!
