My whole life I knew that I wanted to grow up and make an impact in the sporting world. Growing up in Northern Michigan, hockey was my first passion. Once reality set in and I realized that I was not going to the NHL, I began to focus on the world of sports writing. I not only played hockey throughout my life, but also football, golf, and baseball. I consider myself very intelligent in the sporting world as a whole, and feel that my ability to share opinion while researching the stone cold facts is something that could make an impact in the sports journalism community.

I am a member of the Ohio University club hockey team, and thoroughly enjoy being able to play the sport I love in college.

I am also the President of the Theta Chi chapter of Pi Kappa Phi at Ohio U. Our philanthropy, PUSH America, which raises money to help those with disabilities, is something that I immensely care about.

    I want to apologize for my heavy criticism in the goaltender ranking you posted, I still stand on my point of view being that hiller is ranked FAR to high up there. regardless felt like my comment was way over the top and wanted to say sorry.
