About

Christopher is a lifelong athlete, playing soccer and basketball. Additionally, there was even some dabbling in skateboarding through a tumultuous couple month span of teenage rebellion, before realizing that bloody limbs felt a lot less cool than they looked.

Began writing as a freelance journalist in 2009, covering alcohol news and reviews, politics, and eventually soccer. Born and raised in Asheville, North Carolina, he now resides in Prince Edward Island, Canada, trying to learn how to ice skate and join a curling team.

Could I suggest if you are interested in looking at Soccer Legends then a great one to do would be Herbert Chapman, the legendary manager of Huddersfield Town and Arsenal in the 1920's and 30's. He won the title 4 times with these two clubs before dying in tragic circumstances at the age of 55. The side he created at Arsenal would go on to win two more titles in the next two years.

He invented or reinvented formations and his influence can be seen around the world as he was an inspiration for Vicente Fiola who lead the influential Sao Paulo club through the 30's to the 50's and then managed Brazil to 3 world cups (1958-1966).
