About

I'm from Toledo, Ohio, and love The Ohio State University. I grew up in hot Phoenix, AZ, however, so I also enjoy the Cardinals, Dbacks and Coyotes.

Football is my life. I'm here to answer any questions you have on the Arizona Cardinals and anything they have going on, be it a dumb play that cost them a game, what I thought of that amazing catch by Fitzgerald or who they're looking at in the draft.

Whatever you need, I've got you covered.

Come on, Shaun. THE University of North Carolina is the only way to go!

You did a great job on the Cardinals piece. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to reading more of your stuff!

Shaun, I posted this a few minutes ago:

Chris, the injury Kolb sustained is more serious than what has been presented in the media thus far. It involves the connective tissue (ligaments, because it attaches bone to bone) that has been stretched beyond safe limits. Generally, it takes about 3 times longer for connective tissue to heal compared with muscle. By right, because our season isn't going anywhere beyond doing what is necessary to prepare for next season, Kolb should be out for the season. If the Superbowl was on the line, huge maybe, but it just doesn't make sense to put an injured man in major harms' way for the sake of winning one or two games.

I feel the Cardinal's staff did the right thing by putting Lindley in a position to show what he's got. The team needs to put aside all quarterback drama now and put their full support in helping Lindley succeed.

Do you have any thoughts about how Mike Holmgren would fit with the Bidwills/Cardinals?

Is there any story available on how the 49rs built their current offensive line? I'd like to know how they did it, and I think a large percentage of Cardinal's fans would too.

I believe the 49rs O line is the foundation for their success besides their defense.

    Shaun,

Yea, according to the stylebook all down-and-distance combinations are presented with both the down and the distance in digit form. Only when they are separate would the normal "below 10" rule apply. You seem to have written a good number of articles so I'll assume you know where it is in the stylebook, but just in case it is the first part of the section entitled "American Football" at this link http://bleacherreport.com/pages/stylebook.

Hi Shaun. I didn't change your picture, I guess somebody else had a look at your article and thought it needed changing.

Thanks for pointing that out. We definitely want to give our best effort and make sure we hit all the names correctly. I searched again and most places go with Tigiev, so I'll keep it at that. Perhaps the Kazakhs do use both, who knows.

A few questions for you Shaun:
.Aside from the obvious QB situation, what other factors do you feel are holding the Cardinals back from winning another Division title, or making another Superbowl appearance?
. What would be a drastic personel addition that would be a positive influence
. What would be a drastic personel deletion that would be a negative factor for the team as a whole right now?
. Do you think the Cardinals Staff are capable of continuing this trend of success, or do you think it will bottom out eventually? So far they've been making all the right moves, getting rid of players who aren't producing, I just hope they don't make the wrong cuts and then have to overcompensate or find a replacement at the last minute.

    Your feedback please.
