John's Bio
My name is John and I have been a rabid fan of the Red Sox for as long as I can remember-even in those dark days before 2004 and sold-out games every single day. I will be a senior at Quinnipiac University and am majoring in Broadcast Journalism. I have always like writing and sometime during high school I decided to combine this with my love for sports. Baseball is my foremost passion, but I hold more-than-passing interests in football, hockey and college basketball.

The Short List facts and information about John McKenna
Favorite Athletes
Willie Mays, Pedro Martinez,
Favorite Sports Teams
Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Oakland Athletics, Boston Celtics
All Time Sports Moment
This one has to be the Red Sox overtaking the Yankees in game 7 of the ALCS after trailing 3 games to zero. The ensuing World Series was a boring afterthought compared to that.
Most Memorable Game Attended
The most memorable game I attended was a Red Sox game back in the Garciaparra era. He returned from an injury the day of the game and proceeded to drive in runs off of a double and a homer over the monster.
Most Unbreakable Sports Record
The most unbreakable reacord is either DiMaggio's hit streak or Cy Youngs 511 wins.
Ruth or Mays?
I must go with Mays because of the excitement he brought to the field every game. He is perhaps one of the most complete five-tool athletes to ever play the game...his last three seasons don't count.
Unitas or Montana?
How could anyone make that choice? If held at gunpoint, I suppose Montana.
Pele or Maradona?
Who? Ya I know one is a national hero, the other had the Goal of the Century, but I'm an American...futbol just doesnt cut it for me.
Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?
No true loyalties here.
