Andrew's Bio
Definitely a Cleveland homer, but I love sports enough to pay attention to the rest of the world.
Currently working on an undergraduate degree in linguistics with a business minor. Will attend graduate school in sports management.
Behind family, friends and faith, sports are and have always been my biggest passion.
Hope to be a college basketball ambassador to Europe, especially the former Yugoslavian countries of Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Slovenia.

Regarding UNLV, I decided to check out parts of their game against Wyoming last night (a 77-68 loss). It turns out they play really dumb basketball. Blown fast breaks, bad shot selection, can't hit free throws, don't rebound. If their shot isn't falling, they don't have the fundementals to grind it out.
There's no way these guys can string together enough wins in a row to win the conference tournament.

Hey, thanks for the POTD vote. I appreciate it.
As for the Mountain West, I remember UNLV just killing the Cats back in December. Wink Adams was unconscious (7 of 12 from 3). Utah, BYU and SDSU may be ahead in the standings, but I’d rather face any of them than the Rebs again.

Could Jeff Teague be in the running for POY after his performance against UNC?

Hey Andrew—Dave Mo here, a Bleacher Report Community Coordinator.
I've been spending time on our College basketball page and read a couple of your old articles. Really on-point analysis...you do good work.
Given that you haven't written in a while, I thought I'd check in and see if you're interested in picking up your coverage again. What do you say?
If not, it would be great if you could give me some feedback on why you decided to stop writing and what we could have done to better serve you. If you wouldn't mind, please shoot me a line at dmorrison@bleacherreport.com with any thoughts.
Thanks so much,
Dave Mo

Yeah, the injury bug has bit long and hard this year.
I think the majority of the blame goes to the coach, though. The playcalling is the worst I have ever seen. Ever.

lol...gotta love Seitzer and Espinoza. Thanks for filling out the form, looks like you caught it with the new questions I posted yesterday. I will use it. So far your the only one who has filled it out this week. I try to use a total of 5 people a week including myself and would be glad to fit you into the regular rotation. I try to give evryone who wants in a chance every other week or so. That way I don't get like 10 lenghty rsponses to every question, but am welcome to have you involved. I hope to get this posted tomorrow night.

I'm extremely excited about Johnson. I could go on forever about the kid, so expect a nice, long article recapping the Vikings draft sometime late Sunday or Monday.

I think we gave up a lot, but I think it was the lowest we could've paid for the best defensive end in the NFL. He is arguably the best defensive player in the NFL.
We paid a lot for a great player. I hope it pans out.

Good stuff. I just went to DC for the first time this week; I saw the astronaut and momentarily thought about taking a pic next to it and making it my logo. Then I realized that would be sort of weird. So I didn't.
The No-Astronaut logo is much improved.

Thanks, Andrew. Looks good. Looking forward to the others.
Dude, I have to ask: What's with the picture?

I guess it was after school...but whatever...
I hope that this releasing is the making of a big future plan, but I'm glad to get rid of Williamson nonetheless. (The Vikings also just released QB Holcomb as well...they have some extra slots now...)
I also stockpile draft picks on Madden...lol, I end up with two good players on my team and seven first round picks. I feel like I'm cheating somehow...
I also realize your point that Jackson needs targets, and he needs them before the season starts. I would prefer Bryant Johnson, or of course Randy Moss, who should be snatched up right away by the Pats.

Yeah, I saw it on ESPN (during school...)
I don't know what to think. I thought that we could've gotten more out of him, but after snooping around some fan sites, I guess the general mood is that they're glad to get whatever they can.
But a sixth round pick?
I know that Brady was taken in the sixth round, but most of the time you draft guys like Tyler Thigpen in those rounds...oh well...

Thanks for the nice words, Andrew!
