Grew up in heartland of high school football, Dallas (Plano), Texas. Had my soul destroyed early on in life by the Pittsburgh Steelers and that damned "catch" from some guy named Montana to some guy named Clark.
Moved to Jacksonville, Florida shortly after Jerry Jones unceremoniously canned the living-legend Tom Landry. While in Jacksonville, I witnessed the berth of a franchise and one of the most glorious NFL seasons ever to be a part of culminating in the Jaguars upset of the Denver Broncos.
I've been in New York City since 1998 and aside from a 3-year stint outside Tokyo, Japan; I've fallen in love with everything New York--especially the passion of sports fans (this includes despised Yankees fans).
