Warne graduated with a Journalism degree from Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minn. in the spring of 2010. Since graduation, Warne has written for Baseball Prospectus, FanGraphs, Maury Brown's 'Biz of Baseball', and a number of other publications. He's also done broadcasting work for the Minnesota Sports Broadcast Network, and has also started his own website at BrandonWarne.com.

Warne lives in the Northwest suburbs of Minneapolis with his wife, Amanda, and their two cats Oscar and Buster.
