Jon Profita commented on What Wiggins Should Look for in His Future School:
Wiggins needs to work on his outside jumpshot and Hubert Davis is the best person for the job. Look what Davis did for PJ Hairston last...
Jon has yet to fill out a bio.
It doesn't look like anything will happen to UNC for the reasons I laid out to you a couple weeks ago. It was an academics issue and not an athletics issue. HOWEVER, the book isn't completely closed on this yet—there is still a bookmark. As UNC said in the final line of their statement, "University officials will continue to keep the NCAA informed as developments warrant."
There could still be stuff that comes out, just as Peppers' transcript did. For now, UNC should be completely cleared as far as athletics are concerned. I'm sorry, but if the NCAA hasn't found anything over a full calendar year, it's time to shut it down and give it up.
Thanks for the question, Jon!
Thanks for the fan, Jon! As far as the academic scandal is concerned, for now it seems to be a university issue and possibly more football, but not so much basketball. The issue with AFAM is that the athletes weren't treated any differently and weren't even the majority of enrollments. They would have to prove the athletes received special treatment for the NCAA to be involved. In short, you shouldn't worry too much about the basketball program for now. With the Peppers situation, the football program may have more issues.
I had a piece about this a few months back, if you want to check it out:

However, it may affect the basketball program in a different way. Some people are saying UNC dropped off Austin Nichols' list because of everything that came out over the last couple weeks. The same person reports another unnamed 2013 prospect is having second thoughts for the same reason.

Thanks, again, for the fan, Jon!
