About

My name is Derek Robinson. I'm a student at Boston College, double-majoring in Computer Science and Communications.

I've been a Masshole my whole life, growing up in a small south shore town by the name of Whitman. Being in the city at Boston College has really been a great experience for me, and needless to say, I've been brought even closer to the sports that I love. Being a Boston sports fan, I'm fully aware that I'm living through a golden age of sports in this town. To ensure I'll never forget it, let's just say that I may or may not have "City of Champions" tattooed on my back between my shoulder blades.

As for what you'll see from me, I think you can expect a clear tendency for the major sports teams here in Boston. Still, I tend to have expertise in the NFL, College Football, and the NHL in addition to just my local squads. I've been sports writing on my own for a while, and I'm very excited to turn the page and start getting some reads here on Bleacher Report.

    Hey Derek, great response to "Lucic being a dirty player" I agree 100%, he's no angel (who would want him to be ?) but he's not a cheap shot artist, buy any sense of the word. I see you are from Whitman Ma. I am originally from the Fitchburg, Lunenburg and Leominster areas, living in each of these cities at one point or another also Worcester for a few years. I am somewhat familiar with the Whitman area. I am now living in the country of Brazil ( long story) and still follow all the Boston teams. I'm looking forward to catching more of your posts, you make good sense especially concerning the Bruins. I've just acknowledged that you are a writer for B/R and I am very interested in reading your articles. Go BRUINS. GO PATRIOTS.
