About robert »

B/R has changed, and I really don't like it.

I used to encourage anybody and everybody to post on my BB, and I would try to read it if I could. That has changed.

If I am a fan of yours, let me see your stuff. I became a fan for a reason, and that is because I like what you write and want to read more. I cannot guarantee I will read it, as I spend less time on this site now than I have in the past. But if I can, and the subject interests me, I'll try and give it a look.

If you are a Cowboys, Mavericks, or Baylor Bears writer, I want to read your stuff.

If you are a new person on this website that is looking to build a fanbase and/or are in need of some feedback on your articles, let me know and I will try and help out.

If you are a part of the growing B/R Brown Nosing Community, please pass my BB by. Do not fan add me in hopes that I will reciprocate with a POTD vote. Do not send me your latest exclusive interview of another B/R writer. Do not send me articles entitled "The top 10 things I love about B/R" or "My favorite B/R writers and why they are so tremendous." I really, really, REALLY do not care.

This used to be a sports website, and my favorite one at that. I am hoping that the upcoming NFL season will bring SPORTS back to the forefront. Until that happens, however, I will probably be lurking in the background...waiting.

In addition to my own writing, I am also a part of two roundtables. Links to both are below.

  • Favorite Athletes

Demarcus Ware, Jason Witten, Robert Griffin, JET Terry, Dirk, Romo, Willie Andrews before he got busted for pot, Emmit, Mike & Troy, Marrion Barber, Donovan McNabb despite his Eagle-ness, Peyton but NOT Eli, Tiger (I'm sure I'm the only one, right?), Chad Johnson & TO for obvious reasons, Marvin Harrison, Drew Brees, DeAngelo Williams, Steve Smith, and I could keep going... so many great ones

  • Favorite Sports Teams

    Cowboys, Mavs, Baylor Bears

  • Favorite Coaches

Art Briles, Mike Singletary, Jimmy Johnson, Scott Drew

  • All Time Sports Moment

Beating the Spurs in the playoffs and advancing to the Finals... wish we could have finished but that was still a great run. I would say the 3 Cowboys Super Bowls of the early 90s, but I was too young

  • Most Memorable Game Attended

35-34 Baylor vs Aggie was the most exciting game I have ever attended

  • Most Unbreakable Sports Record

No such thing as an unbreakable record...

  • Ruth or Mays?

    Yuck... baseball

  • Unitas or Montana?

Both legends but both before my time, but if you twisted my arm I would probably say.... eh, I dunno

  • Jordan or Russell?

    Jordan

  • Gretzky or Orr?

Hockey?? Really?? (Although I am sure the answer is Mr. Wayne, right? Not Batman, the other Wayne)

  • Pele or Maradona?

PELE!!!! (haha honestly, never heard or Maradon)

  • Federer or Sampras?

This isnt a sport.... Ok it is, but not one I can watch without falling quickly into REM

  • Tiger or Nicklaus?

    ROAR!!.... (thats a tiger)

  • Petty or Earnhardt?

    Earnhardt was a bad man

  • Schumacher or Senna?

    Who or what?

  • Pac 10, Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, or Big East?

I've always been fascinated by quarterbacks. I've ranked the ten greatest quarterbacks in NFL history, as well as the ten greatest individual seasons by a quarterback in NFL history. This is a new one....

Here I have compiled a list of the ten most successful signal callers during the most important time of the year--in the postseason.

Well, well, well.

I bet you think you're PRETTY cool b/c of that Princess Bride piece. Tell me something, if you're all that and a bag of chips, where's the DAMN MAV'S ARTICLE?!?!

Just f*cking with you. It was obviously a well-deserved tribute.

There has been a lot of good talk about bleacherreport and what it has done for their lives, and how to make the site better. I have come with however, probably the biggest step in the sites history: being in the top million sites in the world. Be sure to send it to your fellow fans who are bleacher creatures, as this is a one time oppurtunity the whole community should enjoy.

I just wrote an article that addresses the Bleacher Report Writer Ranking System, which has been a sore spot to some and an area of controversy to many of you on this site.

I think that it's an important issue that needs to be addressed within this community. Please give the article a read when you have the chance. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

The Dallas Cowboys tried their best to put me out of my misery four months ago. Now apparently it was the New Jersey Devils turn to try.
