I’m a huge Rays fanatic and a devout member of Rays Republic. I have been a fan of the franchise since the ‘Devil Ray Era’ and was attending Rays games since the beginning. I watch pretty much every Rays game and love to write about anything baseball-related. I have two Rays blog sites at the moment; The Rays Rant (http://yossif.mlblogs.com/) and TheRaysWay.com.     David, there hasn't been any new development on those rumors yet. I definitely prefer Rizzo; he has a much better chance of landing here and we can get a cheaper contract agreement with him.

    Hi Yossi,

    Just wondering if you've heard any news on who the Rays might be bringing in to fill the first base spot. Rizzo of San Diego and Trumbo of the Angels are my two preferred young targets and I think the Rays have a chance to get one of them. Who do you think would be the better fit, and who's easier to get.

    Yossi, I have to ask you a few questions about this Rays Contributor position. First, is this for your site, or for Bleacher Report? Second, you say Rays articles only. Does this mean that I can't write for any other team, or I only submit Rays articles for you?

    If I can have an an answer soon, that would be greatly appreciated and will help me with my decision.
